To provide excellent customer service and to treat every order like it's our most important. We commit to responding to your queries and questions as rapidly as possible and to source what you need, even if we don’t have it in stock. We commit to swift fulfilment of your order or a good explanation if we can’t. Most of all, we commit to being reliable, trustworthy and community focused.

A brief history of us:

The original company was founded back in 2001 in Cairns and quickly grew across the Tasman to supply both countries with aviation gear. Its first major retail store opened a few short years later in Napier, NZ with a second shop opening shortly after in Rosebury, Sydney.

In the 2010s, Downunder Pilot Shop worked with Flight Experience to further grow the retail arm of the company in Sydney. Combining Flight Experience's simulator business with DPS's aviation products and equipment in a retail store in Darling Harbour.

Then in 2021, Flight Experience took over Downunder Pilot Shop to further develop the brand and reputation in the industry as a trustworthy and reliable source of aviation products.

In 2023, Downunder Pilot Shop and Concept Aviation Supplies merged to form one of the largest and longest operating aviation stores in the country. Combining the 40+ years of Concept's experience and brand reputation in the Sydney region with the wide online reach and eCommerce platform of Downunder Pilot Shop to form the only aviation store in NSW, and one of the best in the country.

Looking towards the horizon, Downunder Pilot Shop continues to strive to bring the Australian aviation industry what it needs, when it's needed. We are always looking for ways to better serve our industry, community and everyone who makes aviation awesome.
