Downunder Pilot Shop does not ship hire equipment to you as this is an exclusive offer for pilots at Bankstown Aerodrome and specifically pilots who fly with Sydney Flying College. Below you will find the Equipment Rental Agreement which you must read and agree to before completing your booking. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
The below agreement is subject to change so we reccomend reading through it before every equipment booking.

Agreement Version: 1.02
This Equipment Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into by and between Downunder Pilot Shop (ABN: 40 657 794 520) ("Lessor") and the individual or entity ("Lessee") as listed on the booking.
1. Equipment Rental
The Lessor agrees to rent to the Lessee the Equipment as listed on the Lessor's website and as booked by the Lessee.
2. Rental Period
The rental period is selected by the Lessee at the time of booking. The Lessee is agreeing to return the rented equipment before the end of the selected rental period. If the Lessee fails to return the rented equipment before the end of the selected rental period, the Lessee agrees to pay the applicable fee for the extra rental period duration. This duration starts at the end of their agreed rental period and ends at the time they actually return the equipment.
2a. The Lessee may return the headset to either:
1. The location they collected the headset from, or
2. Downunder Pilot Shop at Bankstown Aerodrome.
3. Rental Fees
The Lessee agrees to pay the Lessor the following rental fees:
- The rental fee as listed on the Lessors website at the time of booking and subject to the selected rental period.
- A security deposit of $50 AUD
- Any extra fees as applicable such as a late return fee.
4. Security Deposit
The Lessee agrees to pay a security deposit of $50 AUD at the time of booking. This fee is fully refundable upon return of the Equipment in satisfactory condition (subject to any damage or late return charges).
5. Condition of Equipment
The Lessee acknowledges that the Equipment is in good working condition at the time of rental. The Lessee agrees to return the Equipment in the same condition, with normal wear and tear excepted.
6. Use of Equipment
The Equipment is to be used only for its intended purpose and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Lessee agrees not to sublet, loan, or transfer the Equipment to any third party without prior written consent from the Lessor.
7. Maintenance and Care
The Lessee agrees to maintain the Equipment in good condition and is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the Equipment while in their possession.
8. Liability and Insurance
The Lessee assumes full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss to persons or property resulting from the use of the Equipment. The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor from any and all claims, losses, or expenses.
9. Late Return Fees
The Lessee agrees to return the Equipment by the agreed-upon return date and time. Late returns will be charged at a rate of $5 per hour, to a maximum of $50.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time prior to the agreed-upon rental period start time. Returning the equipment anytime before the agreed-upon end time does not warrant a refund of any kind.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12. Acceptance
By booking online, the Lessee acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The agreement is considered 'signed' by the person whose details exisit on the booking and on the same date and time as the booking was made.
