Flying Eyes Sunglasses are designed to be worn with a headset or helmet.
Unlike all other sunglasses, the soft, thin, non-elastic strap on Flying Eyes is unnoticeable between your head and your headgear so there is no pressure or pain, even after a long day of use. The design is so unique and so comfortable, we were recently granted a patent for it.

Convertible
Standard temples are included with your glasses to swap with the strap. Remove the strap, snap in the regular temples, wear them all day. Swap the regular temples for our new micro-thin temples when you wear a helmet. Flying Eyes are ideal in the cockpit or while riding a motorcycle, but are also stylish enough to wear anywhere else. Made of lightweight, unbreakable Resilamide, the frames can survive any adventure you have.

Shatterproof and scratch resistant
We’ve used the best polycarbonate lenses available, which means they are shatterproof for safety and decentered (optically correct — no distortion anywhere!) for crystal clear vision. The lenses are coated to help resist scratches so you can comfortably use these glasses professionally on a daily basis and still get many years of use.

Quieter and more comfortable headsets
Thanks to a better seal between the headset and your head, your noise-canceling headsets will be quieter. No more noise leaks! And, with the strap and cinch option, you may actually forget that you’re wearing them, even after a long day of flying. Once you’re done, you can quickly switch the strap and cinch for standard temples and use Flying Eyes outside of the cockpit.

Enhanced vision
Many sunglasses are polarized, which can interfere with viewing LCD screens on the instrument panel or PDA, and even looking through plastic aircraft windows. All of our lenses offer a medium density, neutral gray tint which is dark enough to remove glare from the brightest and haziest days, but not so dark that you can’t easily see in the cockpit.

LENS OPTIONS

Standard Solid Neutral Grey Tint
Solid neutral grey tinting is best for viewing charts, maps, and LCD screens, as it gives an honest representation of the entire colour spectrum. Gray tinting works just as well as brown tinting for blocking glare and decreasing the brightness of sunlight.

Gradient Grey Tint
Our new Gradient Tint lenses are excellent at blocking harsh sunlight through the windshield, while allowing for easier viewing of the instrument panel inside. The gradient tinting is quite subtle and most people will not be aware that your lenses have a gradation.
