Inspiration
The Focke Wulf FW190 Watch is inspired by the famous FW190 series aircraft that first flew in June 1939. Kurt Tank named it the ‘Würger’ (Butcher Bird) and designed it as a front line fighter aircraft to support and strengthen the Luftwaffe. The FW190 flew its first operational flight in August 1941. It was a stunning introduction and it quickly outclassed the dominant Allied fighters of the time.

The FW190 Anton (A series) and FW190 Dora (D series) were the most important types used. They were both advanced fighters, but were also excellent interceptors and ground-attack aircraft. All who came up against the Focke Wulf 190 feared and respected it. It was an elegant, practical and effective design and achieved the fine balance between form and function.
