The GATS Jar Fuel Tester allows pilots to inspect fuel during pre-flight checks and, when appropriate, return the sampled fuel to the aircraft tank rather than disposing of it on the ground.

Its specialised separator screen is designed to block water and debris while allowing petroleum fuel to pass through, helping prevent contaminants from being reintroduced into the fuel system.

How It Works:

When the separator screen is coated with AVGAS, it forms a barrier that prevents water and debris from passing through while allowing the fuel itself to flow back into the tank.

The transparent jar also makes it possible to visually inspect AVGAS for signs of inadvertent contamination with jet fuel.
