Our PlaneTag from Virgin Atlantic Airways is cut from the Airbus A340-642 registered as G-VGAS. Her first flight from Airbus in Toulouse, France was on March 16, 2005 and she proudly served the Virgin fleet of aircraft until May, 2017. She was named ‘Varga Girl’ after Alberto Vargas, the Peruvian artist who inspired the flying lady logo for Virgin. During her service, she flew 6,522 flights and a total of 56,589 hours.

With every Virgin Atlantic PlaneTag sold, $3 is being donated to the Virgin Atlantic Foundation.
The Virgin Atlantic Foundation, a UK registered charity, was set up in 2003 and was created to support the welfare of children and young people through funds raised from Virgin Atlantic’s community investment program.
In 2010 the Foundation partnered with WE, a movement that brings people together and gives them the tools to change the world. The partnership has been more successful than could ever have been hoped for. WE has been capturing the hearts and minds of Virgin Atlantic staff since the partnership began. In fact, it has inspired Virgin Atlantic employees, partners and customers to raise over $6.38 million (£5 million) for projects at home and overseas.
PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because they are made from real fuselage, each one bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will have a limitied option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.

We use Australia Post with daily pickups from our Sydney (Bankstown) warehouse at 3pm Monday to Friday
We strive to have your order out the door on the same day it was made with us. If the order was placed before 3pm on weekdays, there's a good chance it will be picked up that day. Most of our orders reach their destination within 1-3 business days.

Supply Chain & COVID-19 Impacts
Like many retailers in Australia and around the world, we are experiencing delays and shortages due to COVID which has affected staffing, shipping times and supply chains.
