This Boeing 717, the 37th of 156 constructed, was originally delivered to Bangkok Airways in July 2000 as HS-PGP, beginning a storied journey through various liveries and carriers throughout its lifetime. Next, it made the transition from serving Spanair as EC-KNE to Blue1 as OH-BLP. In 2016, under the registration N987DN, it became an integral part of Delta Air Lines' fleet, traversing short and medium-haul domestic routes. Now, in 2024, it takes on a new identity in the PlaneTags collection.
The Boeing 717, born from McDonnell Douglas' MD-95 project and later integrated into Boeing's portfolio, represented a significant milestone in aviation. As a versatile narrow-body jetliner tailored for short to medium-range flights, it filled a crucial niche in the market, facilitating efficient operations for regional airlines and low-cost carriers. Its enduring legacy lies in its reliability, efficiency, and adaptability, making it a cornerstone of modern air travel and a beloved asset for airlines worldwide. We use Australia Post with daily pickups from our Sydney (Bankstown) warehouse at 3pm Monday to Friday
We strive to have your order out the door on the same day it was made with us. If the order was placed before 3pm on weekdays, there's a good chance it will be picked up that day. Most of our orders reach their destination within 1-3 business days.
